Biogrow Phyta Organic Plant Tonic is a dual purpose nutrient supplying macro elements Potassium and Phosphorous as well as Zinc and Copper. The phosphorous is in the phosphate form, which is highly systemic throughout the plant. Phyta is chelated with organic acids. This formulation stimulates active healthy growth in a range of crops to maximise their resistance to a range of diseases including downy and powdery mildew, botrytis, Phytophthora and Pythium.

Phosphorous is essential to all plants for optimum yields. Base phosphatic fertilisers often fail to supply the crop with sufficient phosphorous. Factors such as soil type, soil moisture and soil pH can interrupt the supply of P to the crop, especially at critical periods during the development phase.

Conventional phosphate products will be mobilised in the plant through the xylem. Omex Phyta will, however, translocate P through the phloem and the xylem and thereby supplying essential phosphorous to the root zone and crop canopy.
