The Bresser Essential Colour Filter Set - 31.7mm is the ideal filter set to take your astrophotography to the next level. This essential colour filter set is recommended for viewing and photographing the moon and planets with a telescope with an aperture from 50mm. The set includes a red, green, blue, and yellow filter.

The red filter blocks out blue and blue-green light, allowing for higher contrast on brighter areas, such as when watching Jupiter, Saturn, or the poles of Mars. The green filter increases the contrast between red and blue colours, ideal for viewing the gas planets Jupiter and Saturn. As well as making the details in the moon craters more visible.

The blue filter will darker red colours, allowing you for higher contrast and finer detail viewing of red planets, such as Mars, Jupiter and the rings of Saturn. The yellow filter is ideal for viewing the surface of the moon, and Mars in high contrast. The cloud bands on Jupiter will become clearer with this filter. With a large 200mm diameter telescope, you can clearly see the details of Saturn.
