Description

The CRKT M16-14ZSF Folding Knife - Brown features CRKT super rigid InterFrame build with 420J2 stainless steel liners, threaded stainless steel back spacers, and Desert Camo pattern glass-reinforced nylon scales. The blade is a non-reflective bead-blast finished AUS 8 stainless steel. It blends and almost disappears in the desert. The service men and women of the coalition forces in the Middle East and Afghanistan require cutting tools that can stand up to the harsh demands of the desert.

The CRKT tactical SF model features two Carson Flippers, resulting in a true hilt when the blade is opened. CRKT Big Dog glass-reinforced nylon version has a 3.875" (98 mm) blade and full-size handle with a pommel which is exceptionally powerful in tactical situations. Weight is a hefty 6.3 oz. (179 g).

It also features CRKT automated liner safety. Automated liner safety is the locking liner safety innovation taken to the next level. The automated liner safety sets a pin between the locking liner and the frame. This pin acts as an additional layer of safety, so the locking liner is less likely to disengage during use. To close the knife, pull the red buttoned safety lever back, slide the locking liner over, and fold the blade into the closed position.
