Description

The EK Archery Jag 2 Pro Crossbow - 175lbs, Black is a successful development of the popular JAG 2 crossbow. EK ARCHERY has taken over the positive characteristics of its predecessor and modernized the appearance. The result is a recurve crossbow in a much more up-to-date design, with an almost military look and for this price range fantastic performance data.

The stock has a slimmer and lighter construction and is made of high strength and robust plastic composite material. The rear section ends in a picatinny rail, on which the adjustable shoulder rest is attached. By simply loosening the screws, the crossbow can thus be individually adapted to the shooter or shortened or lengthened for greater mobility and better balance.

The pistol grip also further improves the handiness, is interchangeable and compatible with AR grips from the gun sector. The rail, the part of the crossbow on which the bolt and string run, is made of lightweight aluminium. Below the rail is another Picatinny rail, on which the front grip is mounted and can be adjusted in length.

The limbs are made of durable, pressed fibreglass, from which EK ARCHERY gets a draw weight of 175 lbs and with which the impressive bolt speeds of up to 260 fps (approx. 285 km/h) are made possible. To ensure the safety of the shooter and to protect the crossbow, the EK ARCHERY JAG 2 Pro is equipped with tendon dampers and an automatic safety device that locks into place when the tendon is cocked and must be released before the shot is fired and, of course, an empty-shot safety device. This ensures that the crossbow cannot be released without an inserted bolt when cocked.
