Grodan Rockwool has an incredible capacity for absorbing nutrient solutions while letting enough oxygen through for rapid plant growth. The design of the plug discourages tangling of roots.
Grodan Rockwool is produced from molten rock spun into cotton candy-like fibers and then compressed into cubes, blocks, or slabs. Where some rockwools are cut all sizes from one batch of wool, Grodan is unique by making various kinds of fibers. The purpose is to toughen the requirement of the plant within the different plant stages.
