Designed for compatibility with various vessels, this tuner weighs approximately 2.5 kg (5.5 lb) and operates via a power supply of 13.6V DC, which is usually provided by the HF transceiver.

Featuring an operating temperature range from 30C to +60C (22F to +140F), the AT-130 is designed to withstand a wide range of environmental conditions typically encountered at sea, making it weather-resistant and suitable for maritime applications.

One of its notable features is the automatic tuning capability, allowing for quick and efficient tuning of antennas. The tuner achieves this tuning in approximately 2 to 3 seconds under general conditions, and can re-tune for a memorized frequency in about 1 second. It ensures an accurate and optimized match between the transceiver and the antenna, reducing reflected power and optimizing transmission efficiency.

The AT-130 tuner is equipped with an SO-239 antenna connector (50) and supports a maximum input power of 150 watts (PEP) or 100 watts in continuous mode. It provides automatic tuning accuracy to achieve an SWR of 2.0:1 after tuning, except for multiples of 12.
