The Kestrel Drop D2 targets many markets including Transportation, Agriculture, Firefighting, Facilities Management, Medical, Pharmaceutical, Consumer and others. From measuring environmental data during cargo transport to conditions in the field for military training to feeling secure about the climate conditions in any room, shipped box, cargo, trailer, freight container, to as simple as a room in your home or office building, you are able to measure all of these conditions even when you're physically not there. Built to Kestrel’s brand specific rugged durability standard, the Kestrel Drops are waterproof (IP67 standard can be submersed in 1M of water for 30 minutes) and drop-tested to MIL-STD-810G. Users are also able to set threshold alarms where an in-app pop-up will notify a user in range that certain measurement criteria have been met.

Uses:
Painting And Coating, Bridge Maintenance
Bridges and other large steel structures are painted with coatings that protect the integrity of the steel and prevent corrosion. It is critical to monitor ambient temperature, relative humidity and dewpoint as well as the surface temperature of the steel to ensure good adhesion and proper curing. A Kestrel Meter does the job.

Concrete Pouring And Placement
Plastic shrinkage cracks occur when the surface of the concrete dries rapidly and shrinks before it can gain sufficient tensile strength. When ambient conditions and concrete temperatures combine to produce conditions that create a high evaporation rate, the chances of the surface drying prematurely and shrinkage cracks forming increases.

Moisture Monitoring And Remediation
Environmental assessments require accurate data to properly inspect facilities and protect the health and safety of occupants. Small, rugged, inexpensive Drops can be left in every room of a facility to easily collect and log continuous data from multiple locations. Wireless alerts can be set up to notify onsite inspectors if readings signify any potential issues, allowing them to respond immediately.
