The Kohler Clarity Water Filtration System is a gravity-fed water filtration system designed to provide people with safe water when the safety of their source water is uncertain. Addressing the demand both for clean water and quality products, KOHLER Clarity fills an important need to increase access to desirable solutions for safe drinking water worldwide.

The Biocache Kohler Clarity Water Filtration System is designed and tested to meet WHO standards, treating biological pathogens like bacteria, viruses, protozoan cysts, and chlorine. It reduces some heavy metals, including lead, but not to the EPA requirements for the life of the cartridge. It is not designed to treat chemical contaminants. You will get approximately 3 litres of water per hour under constant head pressure. The flow rate may vary based on the head pressure, quality of the water and the age of the filter.

The water filters are made with electro absorption media, this charged media attracts pathogens and inorganic contaminants like a magnet. As dirty water flows through the filter, ion exchange permanently attaches contaminants (e.g., virus, protozoa, bacteria, chlorine) to the filter media. Activated carbon adsorbs chlorine, flavours and odours. Once filtered, the water is safe and ready to enjoy.

The life span of the filtration cartridge varies with the quality of source water used in the system and the frequency of use (the more contaminated the water, the shorter the life).
