The hilt is of nickel plated cast metal with downward curved quillons enlarging at their ends as leaves, a grip wrapped in a metal string with a two-lobes shaped pommel. Marto was founded in 1961 in the old district of Toledo and certifies all swords are designed, developed and manufactured in Toledo-Spain by its skilled and recognised artists, craftsmen and sword masters that join traditional handicraft with the most modern techniques and manufacture the finest decorative swords available in the world today.
