Marto Robin Hood Sword

Description

The Marto Robin Hood Sword commemorates the literary legend found in the classic adventures of Sherwood Forest. The custom crafted guards, hilt and pommel are cast metal, and feature elaborate embossed gold, silver plating with swords, stags and trumpeting angels. The pommel bares the renowned insignia 'Robin of Locksley', centered with a deep green stone which compliments the dark leather handle.

The steel blade is mirror polished and features intricate etching commemorating the literary legend's adventures in Sherwood Forest where this rebel outlaw was a hero to the poor and oppressed, robbed with his band of 'Merry Men' the wealthy travelling tyrants who oppressed the peasantry.
