The Mikki Classic Porcupine Pet Grooming Brush - Double/Thick Coats has long nylon pins to help stimulate the glands in the skin that produce the natural oils that keep the skin and coat healthy. The short bristles then help distribute the oil through the coat, helping to prevent dry skin and giving a lovely shine to your pet's coat.

Use gentle stroking actions to allow the longer nylon bristles to reach down to the lower layers of your pet's coat and the shorter bristles help to distribute your pet's natural oils through their coat, leaving it clean and healthy.  While you are doing this, take time to look and feel over each part of your pet. Knowing your pet's contours and form helps you to know what is normal, so you can quickly identify and seek advice for anything that is new or unusual.
