Whether your system is brand-new or has been in operation for some time, SMA EV Charger is highly flexible and is compatible with all standard electric vehicles thanks to its permanently attached Type 2 charging cable.

The Sunny Home Manager 2.0 centrally monitors all energy flows in the household, automatically identifies savings potential and facilitates the efficient use of solar power. The charger can also be used with third-party inverters (requires a Smart Meter and the SMA Sunny Home Manager 2.0). With the SMA Energy App, one can always keep an eye on all relevant information of the system from everywhere.

In addition, the charging process of the vehicle can be conveniently controlled via smartphone. This highly intelligent system always takes all loads into account during charging and prevents the home connection from becoming overloaded. Automatic adjustment of the charge power, even when multiple loads are in use simultaneously, ensures smooth operation at all times. This means that users always benefit from the maximum available power that the house connection and vehicle allow.
