Reinforced, fully dismantled frame construction
Torx screws for easy cleaning
Folder adjustment
The Spyderco C10SBK Endura 4 FRN Knife is the fourth generation of the legendary Endura knife. Reinforced, fully dismantled frame construction with torx screws for easy cleaning, folder adjustment. Attached in four planes clip (4-way clip positions). Thanks to improved ergonomics and construction the knife gained in rigidity, functionality, and aesthetics.
In 1990 the company Spyderco introduced two models of knives: Endura and Delica, thus creating a demand for light folders opened with one hand at an affordable price. The products became bestsellers. Thanks to their small size and low weight they are an excellent choice as EDC knives.
Blade - Clip Point profile made of well sharpened Japanese stainless-steel VG-10, hardened to 59-61 HRC. The blade has a Flat Saber Grind for excellent geometry and strength. Enlarged 14mm round SpyderHole cutout for thumb opening of the blade. Notched portion of the back of the head, ramp (jimping / crosshatching) positions the thumb, gives solid support, and makes it easier to operate the folder. Back-Lock of the head with additional Boye Detent, preventing accidental release of the lock when the knife is firmly gripped.
Handle - black color. Bi-Directional Texturing and Spine Jimping strengthen the grip. The covers are made of FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) plastic, a fiberglass reinforced nylon. Metal hourglass clip with 4-way (up/down, right/left) 4-way clip positions. In the back of the handle (lanyard hole) for the line.
Skeleton - reinforced with two steel plates with cut out holes to which liners are attached. This provides high strength with little weight of the knife. The whole was screwed with torx screws. Phosphor bronze washers facilitate opening and closing of the knife.
