Description

The Cometa Orion Gold SPR Long Air Rifle is powered by compressed air. Therefore, it is necessary to buy a scuba bottle or handle pump. This model is among the rifles of good quality and reasonable prices. It was introduced at the IWA show in 2017 so it is a novelty from the COMETA air guns.
Major dominant is the wooden stock which is made of beech. The advantage of this stock is adjustable cheek piece, which is certainly useful for shooting with rifle scope. Stock is ended with a rubber butt. If you are shooting with Bi pod you will appreciate the already built-in loop for fixing it. In addition, the second loop for attachment the strap is placed under the cheek piece. Grip is engraved and you can find a nicely done Orion sign on stock.

Trigger guard and trigger are made of metal. Before the trigger is placed manual safety. Pressure gauge is placed at the bottom of stock, so you can check the current pressure in the cartridge. Fields are marked with coloured cutouts and of course the numbers. Air cartridge can hold up to 225cc air. This volume allows up to 100 shots. Filling takes place via QuickFill adapter, which is included in the package and is suitable for all pumps and bottles.
Barrel is made of steel and has twelve grooves. Reloading is via rear bolt mechanism.
The rifle is not equipped with a pressure regulator.
