This innovative HelmetLight combines primary and secondary LEDs to provide users with optimal illumination for a variety of close-work tasks. The primary white LEDs deliver a powerful output of 19.2 lumens, making them ideal for general-purpose illumination, while the IR output enhances operational capabilities with a maximum output of 30.5 milliWatts for signalling and identification purposes.
The HL1 Helmet Light is engineered with a rugged, watertight polymer body constructed from durable glass-filled nylon and neoprene, ensuring reliability in challenging environments. The device attaches seamlessly to any Modular Integrated Communications Helmet (MICH) using an included ambidextrous mount that allows for 20 preset positions and 360-degree rotation, providing unparalleled flexibility in adjusting the light's angle as needed. The mount design facilitates quick attachment and removal, thanks to a lever that unlocks the light for instant deployment when required. To further enhance its versatility, an optional Z71 carry clip allows for attachment to MOLLE or ALICE vests, ensuring that your light is always within reach.
With user-friendly features like two toggle switches and a pressure switch, operators can easily switch between output levels-high, medium, and low-across different colours, including night-vision-friendly options for stealth operations. The HL1's runtime is impressive, with white output lasting up to 48 hours on low and IR output lasting up to 44 hours on low as well.
